Weather Related Cancellation Policy
 

The ELC School Cancellation Policy is as follows: School is always cancelled when Newton Public Schools are cancelled and are broadcasted on WBZ News Radio 1030, WBZ 4 News, WHDH 7 News and WCVB 5 News.   Newton public school website is www.newton.k12.ma.us. For one hour or more delay we delay one hour and open at 10:00 AM.

 

The Religious School Cancellation Policy is as follows: School is always cancelled when Newton Public Schools are cancelled.  For cancellation information refer to WBZ News Radio 1030, WBZ 4 News (Sunday only), WHDH 7 News and WCVB 5 News, as well as the Newton public school website:www.newton.k12.ma.us. We also call the Newton Public Schools and the Baker School in Brookline to announce our plans to cancel mid-week school (Monday or Tuesday) if a storm worsens during the day.

 

 

The Temple Office Snow Cancellation Policy

 

The office and Temple activities are typically closed if Newton Public Schools are cancelled. The Newton public school website is www.newton.k12.ma.us.  In the event Newton Public Schools are delayed by one hour or more, we delay opening for the same number of hours.

 

In the event of cancellation, look to the NEWS CORNER at the top of our website for specific cancellation information.

Returns/Refunds
 

Depending on the particular program, refunds may be issued either to credit card accounts or by check. The temple identifies some payments as “nonrefundable.” To request a refund of a refundable payment, contact the temple at 617-527-0045.
