High Holy Day Food Drive

September 26, 2019

It's a shocking truth that across the US, where there is plenty of food overall, there are many people of all ages who do not have enough to eat. This also includes people in our own city of Newton. Every year we help to correct that deficit by collecting groceries at our High Holiday Food Drive. Last year we collected almost 10,000 pounds of food! Please support the drive again by filling the grocery bags you will receive at Rosh Hashanah services. When you bring them back on Yom Kippur please do not include any expired food. We ask you to check the expiration dates on the food you are donating. The recipient organizations will not accept any expired donations. You can also order raisins and salmon online and have them delivered directly to TBA! This year we support: Greater Boston Food Bank, Boston Medical Center Food Pantry, Centre Street Food Pantry and Family Table.

Thank you to our Grade 7 students for preparing the paper bags.
