Providing Support to Detainees

A group of volunteers (including many Temple Beth Avodah members) coordinated by TBA member and past-president Ellen Meisel, gathered in Newton Centre to provide tangible support to detainees and separated families by gathering and sending care package to the border. These packages will then be sent to Temple Emanuel in McAllen Texas to be distributed. They packed 36 boxes of supplies! It was fantastic to see lots of people working to make the world a little bit better! Ellen would like to the awesome volunteers, the Reform Action Center, Temple Beth Avodah and Unlimited Sotheby’s International Realty! Great job Ellen!
