A Shabbat of Completeness & Connection
Today we say goodbye for now to our new friends from Haifa. For the past week they’ve become part of our community, part of our families, in our 6th year of the Boston Haifa Connection. The second half of their visit to us included the opportunity for our guests to explore Boston while TBA students were in school. They created long lasting memories including an incredible visit to Newbridge, a tour of Harvard, celebrating in the Sukkah for SImchat Torah, and of course taking a ride on the Duck Boats. This morning the teens from the Alliance School in Haifa are visiting TBA’s Early Learning Center and planting the seeds in the youngest members of our community to have a love for and connection to not only Israel, but to Israeli people. As the Boston portion of our connection concludes, we are excited to continue our learning together in the coming months and be reunited in Israel in February. These 28 teens began as individuals last week and have come together as one community. As we enter Shabbat, we wish all our Boston Haifa participants, their families, and our entire community a Shabbat Shalom - a Shabbat of completeness and connection.
