Monthly Cooking for TSS is Back
We resumed preparing monthly meals for The Second Step's community dinners this past Sunday. Quite a few volunteers busily prepared the meal, with the work completed in record time! Nancy Bloom, Lynn Patkin, Julie Paltrowitz and her two oldest children and Suzy Willard and her 7 year old daughter, Bruce Blakely, Cheri Lookner and Debbie Hart-Klein prepared turkey meatloafs loaded with veggies; salad; and roasted sweet potatoes and broccoli for dinner; and banana breads and cheesecake pies for dessert. Debbie is delivering the food to TSS on Monday to be served to about 32 people at that evening's community meetings at TSS's two residences.
