Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen!

What an overwhelming response we had to this month's cooking for The Second Step. Who knew we would have too many people to fit into the TBA Kitchen? What an AWESOME problem to have! To those of you who volunteered this month after we were filled, we hope you will volunteer next time. We had a great group on Sunday and welcomed four new volunteers: Laurel and Howie Salend & Julie Paltrowitz and her daughter Lily. They joined veteran cooks Jackie Dahlquist & her daughter Charlotte and Bunny Aronson. We had a very productive day in the kitchen making chili, cornbread and brownies. Howie used his elbow grease to open the giant cans needed for the chili recipe as well as to wash the over sized pots and pans. Vilma from The Second Step relayed to Debbie Hart-Klein (when dropping the home-cooked meal off) that the families were all excited for the meal and are so appreciative to TBA for their kindness. Thank you to everyone who volunteered.
