If you are a TBA member born between 1946 and 1964,

you are a TBA Boomer!

Our Boomers! group is designed to offer fun activities and the opportunity to get together with old friends and make new ones. We look forward to working as a group to plan a variety of social and educational events. These events can take place at the synagogue or in the community. We invite YOU to suggest, plan, and lead events of interest to you and other TBA Boomers!

There are different types of Boomers! events:

  • Small groups of individuals who share similar interests run by the members of the groups themselves who set their own guidelines. Activities such as hiking. travel. theater. bridge. movie nights. potluck Shabbat dinners. game nights. Ex-Kibbutz volunteers. And anything else that interests you can be organized. These groups can be as small or as large as you want.

  • Programs designed for larger groups that are more structured and organized by the Boomers! committee such as a series of documentary films followed by discussions. Individual programs on issues that are important to us: Preparing for retirement, dealing with adult children, and elder care legal issues are among some of our initial ideas. These programs will take more work to put together and we’ll need to identify topics of most interest and small teams to put them together. TBA staff will provide logistical support.
