Grades 3 - 5
Beginning in Grade 3, our students attend Religious School both on Sunday mornings and on Tuesday afternoons. On Sunday mornings, we continue to focus on Jewish studies including history, Bible, values, Israel, life-cycle and holidays. On Tuesday afternoons, students not only learn to read Hebrew with fluency, but also learn prayers and their meanings that are central to the Jewish prayer service. In addition to the formal classroom curriculum on Sundays and Tuesdays, we have special informal youth programming and twice weekly student-led prayer services in the Sanctuary.
