Adult Education

Adult Education classes and programs offered at Temple Beth Avodah provide learners with the opportunity to explore the traditions, experiences, precepts and culture of the Jewish people.  Classes are participatory and interactive with an emphasis on discussion and a conceptual and experiential understanding of the topics and issues presented.   Adult education students will discover the lore and wisdom of Judaism with particular focus on the texts and traditions that have kept Judaism alive and vibrant over the millenia.

Content areas offered include: Hebrew, Culture and Art, Prayer, Philosophy, Theology, Israel Studies, Jewish History, Social Action, Jewish Values and the Jewish Life Cycle.
