Caring Community CommitteeYears ago, temple communities did not have Caring Committees to meet the diverse needs of a congregation. Today however, with our infinite obligations and chaotic schedules, we need one another more than ever before! The goal of the Temple Beth Avodah Caring Committee is to foster a Caring Community; to help each congregant feel recognized, heard, comforted and valued as an important member of our Temple community. At Temple Beth Avodah, we have nine groups within the Caring Committee, with over 22 committee chairs committed to helping to meet the needs of our TBA members. These groups include: Bikur Cholim (Illness) Nechama (Bereavement) Sages Mazel Tov Social Action Community Mitzvah Adult Ed B-Ruchim Haba-im (New Members) College Connection We have committed ourselves to a project that is vital to the well being of our community; the work is comprehensive and inclusive, and can only be achieved by the clergy, professional staff and congregants all working together. We thank all of those taking part in this significant and holy work. Chairs: |
